Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you visit our sales pages, buy one of our ebooks, or join our email list, and how we use it.

Who we are

Chimney Studios is owned and operated by Emmanuel Umoh in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Contact: emmanuel@chimneystudios.com.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver the product you bought or signed up for. Specifically:

• Your email address when you opt in to a free download or buy an ebook.
• Your name and country when Stripe passes them along with a purchase, so we can issue a proper receipt.
• Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your full card number. We see only a transaction reference and the amount paid.
• Basic usage signals like the page you opened and whether you clicked a checkout button, used to understand which content is helpful.

How we use it

• To deliver the ebook or download you signed up for.
• To send the email nurture sequence tied to that purchase or opt-in. Five emails over seven days, then a weekly cadence you can leave any time.
• To improve the products and the sales pages.
• To comply with Canadian tax and accounting law.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum needed with the following processors, and only for the purposes above:

• Stripe processes payments. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
• Beehiiv sends our email list. Their privacy policy is at beehiiv.com/privacy.
• Our hosting provider runs the server that delivers these pages. Server access logs are kept for 30 days for security and debugging.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

Cookies

These sales pages do not set any tracking cookies. Stripe Checkout, when you click through to it, sets cookies required for the payment to complete. Beehiiv may set a cookie on the email confirmation page when you opt in.

How long we keep your data

If you bought an ebook, we keep your purchase record for seven years for tax and accounting reasons. If you only opted in to a free download, we keep your email until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See the data we have about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your account and unsubscribe from email (we will keep only what tax law requires us to retain).

Send any of these requests to emmanuel@chimneystudios.com. We will respond within 14 days.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the next email we send to the list.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
